about me

-Hi, I’m Thiasa Galle A. Cabanlit, currently studying at Notre Dame of Dadiangas University. I’m an IT student with a strong interest in web development, programming, and creating practical digital solutions. I enjoy building clean and responsive websites, exploring different technologies, and improving my skills through hands-on projects.

Web development

I create simple, responsive websites using HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScirpt. I focus on clean layouts, easy navigation, and mobile-friendly designs. I also practice proper code organization and aim for fast, consistent pages.Through my projects, I’ve developed a better understanding of design principles, problem-solving, and building functional web pages.

programming

I write basic programs using languages like Java, Python, and C++. I focus on understanding logic, problem-solving, and how different parts of a program work together. Through exercises and school projects, I learned how to analyze a problem, plan a solution, and translate it into working code. I’m also inproving my debugging skills and learning how to make my programs more efficient.

Tech Tools & learning

I use different tools to improve my work and make my project easier to build. I work with VS Code for coding, WordPress for creating and managing websites, and GitHub for organizing my files. I also use Chrome DevTools to check layouts and fix small issues. I’m continuously exploring new tools and technologies to strenghten my skills and understand how real-world development works.

The Importance of UX in Apps

User experience (UX) plays a huge role in how people interact with apps today. Even if an app has strong features or advanced technology, users will not enjoy it if the interface is confusing, slow, or difficult to navigate. Good UX makes apps easy to understand, visually clear, and comfortable to use, which leads to better engagement and satisfaction. It also helps users complete tasks faster because everything is organized, readable, and placed where they expect it to be. For developers and designers, focusing on UX means thinking about the user’s needs instead of just the app’s functions. This includes responsive layouts, clean buttons, readable text, and simple workflows. When an app works smoothly and looks appealing, users are more likely to continue using it, recommend it to others, and trust the product overall. In today’s competitive digital world, good UX isn’t just an advantage, it’s a requirement for building successful and meaningful applications.
